WHAT IS THE POINT OF ALLOWING FEAR TO HINDER YOU?
After talking to a friend, I realized that many of us allow other people’s thoughts, opinions, and perceptions to bother us. Then fear creeps up inside us, hindering us some more. Fear has two jobs; it can stop you from achieving your goals, or it will push you to keep trying. Therefore, I asked my friend why she allowed the person to get into her dead because of what they felt you needed to do. There is a time and place for everything. I understand if what you are doing could endanger someone’s life, but all you are trying to do is mentor people.
Please be advised that you are here to mentor people aligned with your path. God gave everyone free will; the people who choose to be informed by you will decide to, and the people who don’t will not. Don’t worry about it!
Matthew 6:34 states, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble on its own.”
But when we look at the real issue, we are bothered by other people’s thoughts, opinions, and perceptions because we sit in fear. We are scared to take action and are looking for a reason not to act, but how on earth are you going to succeed if no action has happened?
- Stop trying to live in perfection. No one in this world is perfect, so why worry about the mistakes or things that can happen? Mistakes are just lessons; God can use you as a vessel for another person’s lesson. So, push on!
- When living in your fear, think about it and face it. Try to do something distracting to calm yourself down. And, then, go for it! You do not do yourself justice by not facing your fears and delaying your self-development.
- Confront and be realistic about your fears. Sometimes our fears are based on trauma that happened to us in our past. You need to confront what happened and stop running away from it. How would you get them to face their fears if you put yourself in another person’s shoes? Sometimes we need to take our advice because we can see other people’s issues, about be blind to our own.
- Find that place that fills your heart with joy. Fear can suffocate us so much that we cannot see the surface and feel like we are drowning. Therefore, take your mind on a happy trip. Breathe in and out slowly so you can relax.
What is problematic in facing our fears is facing ourselves. Many of us would instead put on that mask that we live with every day and pretend that we are okay but are not. Life must go on, we must evolve, and that takes us facing our fears. American Author Helen Keller states, “Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold.” So, if you think you are saving yourself from getting hurt, you are not. Be Brave. Be Fearless!
Next time I read a blog, I hope that it wont disappoint me just as much as this particular one. After all, I know it was my choice to read through, but I actually believed youd have something helpful to say. All I hear is a bunch of crying about something that you could fix if you werent too busy searching for attention.
A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment. Theres no doubt that that you ought to publish more about this subject matter, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people dont talk about these subjects. To the next! All the best!!
